Paperbabe Stamps challenge #70

It's time for a new challenge over at the Paperbabe Stamps Blog, this time the theme is

Floral Corona - Tattered Lace

Good morning everyone, today I am sharing samples from another new Tattered Lace launch.

I was sent 2 of the add on dies to work with, here are my samples 

At the time I didnt have the matching charisma images to use so I use alcohol markers, guiding wax and glitter glue to colour my images.

Nancy's Signature Collection - Tattered Lace DT samples

So, who's excited about the launch of Nancy's signature collection?

I've had to keep very tight-lipped about this collections for a while, but now I can at last share my design team samples with you.

I was sent several dies to work with (links below) and set about creating the following cards.

Painted Rose - Tattered Lace

I'm back to share a sneaky pre-launch look at some dies and embossing folders from Tattered Lace dies.

I was sent several dies and embossing folders and asked to make samples for the launch of the Painted Rose collection, below are my samples.

First up we have the 2018 stepper card die set

I then made some samples with the 5x7 embossing folders

I made a couple of cards using the Beautiful birdhouse die

and lastly the Romantic scene

Duo dies - DT samples

It's Friday at last and that means the last school day for a while as we break for Easter today, I'm looking forward to 2 weeks of rest and fun with my children, before that I thought I'd share some cards with you.

I was recently sent some new Duo sentiment dies to work with, Never having worked with them before I didn't know what to expect. Below are the cards I created and link to the dies which are being launched tomorrow on Create and Craft TV.

They font used is beautiful, very pretty and delicate. I love how they add to a card without over powering it.

The launch is happening on Saturday 24th March at 8am on Create and Craft TV.

Following on from the popular Discover the Orient collection, Tattered Lace are launching the "East meets West" collection.

Masking Unleashed - Altenew Educator Certification Program

Today's post is all about masking and is my last card for the Level 2 Altenew educator certification program.

I haven't worked with the Painted flowers stamp set for some time and thought this would be a good time to dig it out and spend time with an old favourite.

I started by stamping the flowers I was going to be using onto some making paper and cut them out. I used the masks to allow me to place images in the back ground while protecting the stamped images in the foreground. 

I chose a combination of pinks and peach colours to work with. I stamped the peach flowers in the lower part of the card first, I then masked them and stamped the pink flowers and outline images.  I then repeated this process in the top part of the card.

I added a sentiment from the Beautiful Quotes stamp set and embellished with sequins.
